
Collin County Community College District and Texas A&M University (A&M) signed an automatic-admission agreement on December 8, 2006. This agreement allows Collin students who meet A&M transfer admissions requirements and selected major requirements automatic admission to A&M.
Requirements
The TAPP (Transfer Articulation Pilot Program) agreement serves to define and facilitate automatic admission and academic transfer of students from Collin into one of several participating degree programs at A&M.
In order to qualify for automatic admission under the terms of the agreement, a Collin student must:
- Select and complete A&M program specific degree plan (linked below).
- Complete at least 24 credits of transferable course work that satisfies the degree plan (at the time of application) at Collin after high school graduation
- Have, at Collin, a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and a minimum 3.0 GPA for all courses attempted from among those listed in the chosen A&M degree plan.
- Have met all other general transfer admission requirements (transcripts, applications, timelines, deadline dates, fees, etc.) for admission to A&M.

Note: Government sequence: because A&M and Collin offer two different Govenment/Political Science sequences, students are advised to complete one sequence either at Collin (GOVT 2301/2302) or A&M (POLS 206/207).

Collin students may apply by completing the *Automatic Admission Application. Please make two copies in addition to the original.
